Heartfelt thanks on the AFP comment. I'm stepping awaaaaaroay from the edge of the cliff. I know the expanded AFP has a lot of false-positives, if that's the right term, but it sure as shit is scary. I wish I'd heeded a friend's advice: "Go straight for amnio; don't bother with AFP. If it's negative, it doesn't tell you much; if it's positive, it'll scare the hell out of you."
