This new feature is pretty irritating. Things I've formatted and spaced properly go all to hell after the auto save. (See previous post, corrected numerous times.)
It also turns off comments, which is something I definitely do not want to happen. (Happened previous post as well.)
Anybody else notice this stuff?
Ron, are other asking about it, too?

I guess your comments are on now. If not, I'm talking to the wall. Yes, others are complaining, but it's not a universal problem. It's not screwing me up yet, but who knows, it may. It sounds goddamn awful. It's not even a feature that I particularly want, I'm used to making frequent saves since my first word processor lost a 5000 word story some years ago! I have not really heard of any fix or workaround yet. But basically, Blogger ought to shove it up their ass if the new feature can't function properly.
When Blogger would crash all the time, I got to where I'd always Control C before I published. Or I'd to the spell check better/easier elsewhere and would have it there in case Blogger crashed. Since then, I'd often save drafts to go back to edit later. Like you, I don't think it is a feature I really need or want. It is frustrating.
About the comments turning off, I think it only happens if I make that little part of the screen drop down to change the date or time. Then it seems to default itself to no comments. I haven't noticed it doing that unless I changed date/time.
I have a devil of a time if I post pictures getting the text to paragraph properly. Usually I just give up on it.
